Three years ain't that bad . . . well maybe it is but at least I'm blogging again. Maybe.
It was a very pleasant Mother's Day at our house. I slept in, Daniel helped with breakfast and getting the children ready for church, Stephen and Lincoln sang well in Sacrament meeting and I got lots of chocolate :) One of the best presents from my husband and children today was their being willing to endure the ordeal of taking pictures and then allowing me some peace and quiet to actually blog. I have a pretty wonderful family.
The day wasn't all smiles and laughter - Grandpa Earl is extremely sick and so that's been a worry on all of our minds. Today I convinced him that he was suffering the symptoms of dehydration and that he either needed to drink a lot of pedialyte or I was taking him to the emergency room for an IV. He was a good patient and was noticeably better after drinking just one liter. We'll try to see if we can't give him a lot more than that over the next 16 hours.
So does this post mean I'm back to blogging? I don't know . . . we'll just have to wait and see. I can tell you this, I'm not stressing about catching up :) If it happens, it happens. I am more determined to post because it sure makes things easier when it comes to scrapbooking and family history!
