Daniel blessed Lincoln today in Sacrament Meeting. Members of our ward told us that they were waiting to hear if we were giving Lincoln a "really weird" middle name like we did with Stephen. I guess they were disappointed. After Stephen "Cincinatus", Lincoln "Lewis" was pretty boring.Lincoln used the same blessing outfit that Stephen did but he barely fit into it. In fact by the end of the day he'd popped off 4 buttons :) This was partly due to the fact that we waited until Lincoln was a little over 3 months old to bless him to ensure that both sets of grandparents could attend. It was so nice to have our parents here as well as all the additional aunts, uncles and cousins that traveled and made it a very special day for Lincoln and the rest of us.
Stephen was in heaven because Eric and Ann brought their 5 children. Stephen was surrounded by little kids and he LOVED it.
After church we had family over for chili and warm rolls. yum! There are some pictures below of the happy eaters. We are so grateful to be living in a house that can accommodate that many people :)
We all have "morning eyes" because our church starts at 9:00 AM which is still pretty early for us :)
