Winnie-the-Pooh backpack

It's a hit!  The second I showed it to him, Alexander wanted it on.  Then he walked off saying "where going?"  If the backpack is on, we obviously must be heading out somewhere, right? :)

He kept running around saying "Winnie-the-Pooh backpack, Winnie-the-Pooh backpack!"  Then he realized he was missing something very important . . . books!  So off he ran into his little bedroom (otherwise known as our closet) to grab a few books to put inside his very own backpack.

Once that was complete he walked around with his new appendage as if nothing was different, other than he was all of a sudden very important.  He was a "big boy with a backpack!"

When it came time to eat, the backpack couldn't be removed.  No, no, no.  It had to stay on as uncomfortable as it may be.

It was very sad when it was nap time - it had to be removed and it nearly killed him.  Fortunately, he was able to breath again when he put it back on after waking :)

Here's a little video I took within the first 45 seconds of wearing the backpack :)
